Age : 21-32 years as on 15/09/2010
Qualification : BVSc./BVSc. &  AH degree from any recognised Indian University or equivalent.
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6100/- pluus MPS Rs.6000/- plus 25% NPA

Method of Selection : shortlisting of applications will be done at Directorate General Remount Vetrinary Corps, those found eligible will be called for SSB on a specified date. On arrival at the SSB, the Shortlisted candidates will be administeredstage-1 of the two stage testing procedure. Those who qualify will be detailed to undergo Group Test, Psychological Test and Interview which will extend for a duration 0 to 5 days.

Medical Examination : Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

The enevelope containing application should be superscribed in Red ink indicating clearly "Application for Short Service Commission in RVC". Applications are invited from unmarried male and female Engineering Degree students studying in Final year or pre-final year during academic year 2011-2012 for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army.

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech

Vacancies : 60 posts (for UES) (Branches having vacancies: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics, IT, Architecture)

Age : Final Year Degree candidate - Not below 19 years and not over 25 years (Born in between 2nd July 1986 and 1st July 1992) and for Pre-Final Year Degree Candidates - Not below 18 years and not over 24 years.(Born in between 2nd July 1987 and 1st July 1992), TGC-113 - 20 to 27 years (Born in between 2nd July 1984 and 1st July 1991), SSC (Technical) Men-37 : 20 - 27 year (Born in between 2nd October 1984 and 1st October 1991), SSC (Technical) Women -08 : 20 - 27 years (Born in between 2nd October 1984 and 1st October 1991).

Physical Standard : (a) Min. height & Weight: For Men:157.5 cm with correlated weight, For women: 152cm , 42 kg (b) Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6 and worst eye sight 6/18.
