*SCIENTIST GR.IV[2] = TWELVE POSTS (UR-9, OBC-2 & ST-1) 

*Pay : Rs.18750 + Grade Pay of Rs.6600 in the Pay Band PB-3 Rs.15600-39100

*AGE: Not exceeding 35 years for general category, 38 years for OBC and 40 years
for ST /PWD candidates as on the last date for receipt of applications


Qualification:
Two years’ experienceafter M.Tech./M.E. orequivalent recognized Post graduate degree in Structural Engineering with First Class or equivalent CGPA (or) Ph.D in Structural Engineering.

Desirable:

Candidates having knowledge of advanced structural analysis and design; familiarity with computer programming; use of software(s) and experimental techniques for structural engineering applications will be
preferred.

Job Requirements:

The candidates selected would be required to work in any of the following R&D areas that would call
for any or combination of analytical, computational, field, laboratory investigations;

[b] Sustainable Materials and Composites
[c] Retrofitting/rehabilitation of Structures
[d] Computational Structural Mechanics for Analysis and Design & Software Development
[e] Transmission Line Towers – Analysis, design, testing & evaluation
[f] Metal Structure Behaviour
[g] Fatigue & Fracture
[h] Structural Health Monitoring, Evaluation & Forensic analysis
[i] Wind Engineering
[j] Earthquake Engineering and

[k] Interaction Problems
